Client: Prote-J
The Project: Create online album art for central Florida rapper Prote-j’s 2013 album “Me.Verses.Time”. The client asked for custom imagery that captured both his Papua New Guinean heritage and the theme of time.
Custom illustrations were hand drawn to capture some of the cultural references that the client wanted to integrate, most notably the “Mud men”.
Jaslyn then created geometric and repetitive patterns with the imagery to further illustrate the concept of time.
